TYPE 1 HEAVY DUTY FLYWHEEL SEAL

A Type 1 heavy duty flywheel seal unlike any other, this seal is a dual compound construction of rubber and bakerlite, features a dual lip seal to the flywheel. These fit nice and tight into the case.

HEAVY DUTY GENUINE VW MOUNTS

Originally made for the trecker and type 2 for rough terrain countries, genuine VW manufactured parts, these are the best for strength and durability. Unlike urethane rubber has a memory so retains its shape and is much quieter in use + absorbs shocks without cracking or distorting.

STATESIDE TUNING MAGNUM STYLE CYLINDER HEADS

Stateside Tuning Magnum style cylinder heads with 37.5mm intake valves and x 33mm exhaust valves, with best quality stainless steel valves for use on smaller and torque engines that use the original heat exchangers. 12mm long reach relocated spark plugs for extra strength and less prone to cracks, hardend valve seats with 3 angle serdi machined valve job, ported valve seats to chambers, diamond honed valve guides, stateside special single h-duty valve springs, cromoly valve retainers, precision ground clearanced valve collets. All valve heights are checked and corrected as required, vacuum tested valve to seat contact faces.

STATESIDE TUNING SPECIALLY MANUFACTURED VALVE SPRINGS

This is not an ordinary uprated valve spring, the material used SWOSC-V, is the best available in today’s manufacturing industry and the same wire quality as used in the Japan motorcycle industry.

Using modern day manufacturing processes we have been able to achieve a valve spring that gives huge travel before coil bind and will not distort or loose poundage rates common with the typical import springs. From the installed height this spring gives good progression in poundage rates. The high quality wire used is 4.3mm on the outer spring and 3.1mm on the inner spring, the manufacturing process includes and heat treatment two times to safe guard against fatigue.

These will fit all Type 1 cylinder heads and Type 4 with minor guide boss machining.

In House Testing
Using light weight valve train parts we have thoroughly tested these springs on Type 4 engines running 86B Web camshafts with just the single valve spring. We have also tested them on type 1 engines with Web 86A & 86B camshafts with 1.4 ratio rocker arms on just the single valve spring.

Checking pressures using Longacre digital spring testing equipment:

Single spring
In a single spring form measured at installed 1.50" – 111lbs

Duel spring
In dual spring form installed at 1.53" – 149lbs

Installed heights can be altered to allow more or less pressure dependent upon engine requirements.

CUT TO LENGTH ALUMINIUM PUSHRODS

Back in stock and easier to use, the ultra light weight and super strong 2140 cut to length aluminum pushrod. Do not confuse this pushrod with the cheap import cut to length aluminum pushrod, this one is super strong and comes with hardened micro polished tips, o/a length is 11.250 so less to cut. Expansion rates are correct for the air cooled VW engine unlike cromoly steel, the 2140 pushrods run quiet just like a factory engine. Use on all Type 1 and Type 4 engines.

GERMAN TOOL STEEL VALVE ADJUSTERS

High quality tool steel elephant foot valve adjusters like the Porsche 911 used. Available in 8mm 9mm and 10mm so will work on all air cooled VW engines and the water boxer.

CAM FOLLOWER BORE BUSHES

Special hardened aluminum bushes to suit Type 4 & water boxer for conversion to 19mm type 1 lifters and Type 1 engines with worn out follower bores. Machining is required to fit please call for pricing.
